General Information

National Geographic Coverage: Analog Data coverage throughout the United States. (See AMPS Coverage here). 
Digital Data coverage in select larger urban centers. 
Analog CS Network: AMPS, in place since birth of network.
Digital CS Network: TDMA (voice), limited/inactive Digital Data Networks.
Digital PS Network: The GSM/GPRS network was launched in July 2001. By the end of 2002, this service will be offered in all markets across the US. 3G wireless technology will be available sometime in 2003.
Digital Data Support: Digital Voice activated in most regions, and Analog service throughout the United States. Some pockets of Digital Data have been activated in major urban centers - but on a VERY limited basis.
